Tokyo, August 10, 2012 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced today the release of the BG-6900 and 6901, representing five new Baby-G models that have inherited the design of the popular DW-6900 G-SHOCK model. Like all Baby-G shock-resistant watches for women, these new watches embody the concept of "tough, cute, and cool."

The new BG-6900 and 6901 are modeled after the G-SHOCK DW-6900, their very popular big brother that has won the hearts of young people who are into street fashion. The DW-6900 stands out on the street for its bold round face and graphical three-dial arrangement, which has earned the nickname, "three eyes."

The new Baby-G watches add femininity and cuteness to the appeal of the DW-6900. While maintaining the "three eyes" design, the new watches have a more petite face designed to fit the wrist of a woman. Along with decorative screws adorning both sides of the face, the light button has been rounded, and the ring part around the button gives the design an added cute factor.

The resin band and face components are rendered with a glossy finish. With the gold and silver-colored dial plates, which feature a mirror-like finish that reflects light to shine and scintillate, plus mirror LCDs that match the tone of the dial plates, Casio has created an amazingly cool, high-quality look.
